This work aims to analyze the lighting contained in the show "The Great Serpent" (2010) of the Imbuaça Group of Sergipe, showing that the scenic lighting as a communication instrument allows the creation of atmospheres. For the development of this monograph the method of research adopted was qualitative, through the instruments of observation, bibliographical readings, questionnaires, structured interviews with directed questions, previously established with the illuminator of the show, cast and direction.
